### MESH
did a site survey at mil mundos, which is going to fund mesh capacity in ridgewood and bushwick. We need volunteers, to help spanish-speaking families who need internet!

 Is flyering useful? Mainly need people who can deal with computers right now, who are comfy drilling into the wall, talking with people.
 
 Mil Mundos has outreach and knows who needs internet.
 
 The best candidate is someone who can put together the "team"—a bit of coding / troublehshooting; a bit of hardware (drilling); some people skills.
 
 
 Will - can I require my students do community service to install mesh nodes. Could there be a "wandering" exercise?  
 
 
 Jonathan — Ping the group! Maybe this fits with the idea that we have "Open Studio" hours posted? Have we made progress on that? 
 
 Judson church near nyu is interested in mesh. New pastor! Do they have a high vantage point? So, how does internet fit with their larger mission? Are there any specific. What about other "network" history readings?
 
 Magazine rack / Conversation Geometry / Non-meeting event; these could all help us figure out what our curriculuum is.

Will map out some circuits. Need to have better eye hooks, zip ties.
First step is to make things easier to re-run stuff. Just want to know how many circuits there are.

### MAPPING

If you loaded up a phone with a bunch of apps, it would be cool to monitor what data it tries to send out and where. Little Snitch but for phones. How do you get a copy of the resulting dataset? Knowing someone from a jurisdiction that has better data rights, they could help collaborate on this research by requesting said information from companies.

### BENCH

We have cabling and u-clamps to stabilize the benches. Ordered dynema rope. Affordable for what it is - 500lbs breaking point at 7/16" diameter

### SERVER

Danny came to CCC event (has been active on matrix). Now he sees all the space and thinks we should take every single server here.

Electricity + Noise. Heat could be a problem. We could use 3, but probably dont need 200

Biotech Without Borders - people are planting around Newtown Creek. Could be collaborative.

Extracting and sequencing natural pesticides.

Danny would like to be more connected with woodbine and basement. Might need a quick relocation if they lose their current place.
