# Meeting 97 - 2024 12 11 p, jason, omni, llama - inspace tk - remote ## Agenda ### pipe falling seems like somebody hung on the big pipe near the screen printing area and broke some of the supports. - jessi re-hung the pipe - ### [Rory](https://www.newschool.edu/lang/faculty/rory-solomon/)'s class Thursday we're having some new school students visiting woodbine on thursday around noon to check out the space and present their project. from Rory: > "The class is called Radical Software (https://classes.codeatlang.com/radical-software/2024-fall/) [...] The 14 students are interested in learning more about your tech space – some live in the area and are potentially interested in getting involved – and sharing some presentations about our collaborative final project which is a kind of peer-to-peer, mutual aid / community platform for the New School campus." - rory lived near wb for a long time, never got involved - went to school with will - cs background, more software than hardware - nycmesh install on roof - 3rd time teaching radical software- history of politics, activism and software. exploring what "Hacking" is - students did a browser extension, then a keystroke injection attack using (usb rubber ducky)[https://docs.hak5.org/hak5-usb-rubber-ducky/ducky-script-basics/keystroke-injection] exploring how they could use keystroke injection attacks for good. - students developed a "virtual quad" for the new school campus. - maybe we can recruit some students to get involed with stuff in wb ### Jonah's beginner soldering class Sunday > (this is a workshop experiment, will be a work in progress, more workshops to come) - drop in workshop fully downstairs (there's an event upstairs) - stull unclear on what project to actually do - maybe https://www.tvbgone.com/ ? - somebody could maybe contact mitch altman about where to source them with so little? ### Woodbine MOU (Memorium of Understanding) for Basement crew we're being asked to fill out a generic form for all groups which - explains our relationship to woodbine - defines "which parts of the space" we want access to and during which hours - enumerates what we want to store at WB and where - asks groups to come up with a maintenance task they can carry out - requests a list of "core coordinators and bottom-liners" and others who "absolutely would need key access for group functionality" who should have key access granted, along with their names, phone numbers, emails and signatures. - solicits financial contributions "a regrouping effort" because it's not clear who everybody is ### ventilation & air quality assessment - llama smells sourness and it corresponds with a tvoc reading (?) - jroast: pot the gym fan on a timer
