burdock: back in ma; gametank emulator; work llama: on strike from all things, including basement omni5cience: NEW GIRLFRIEND! BRAND NEW! puck: i'll be out of town a couple weeks for work

ratskeller update

talked with an exterminator about doing abatement in basement but station is too large for ceiling
there is a bait station near the sink
rats likely originating next door, heard it is also getting abatement

oozing forward

last sunday we printed out first go from coffee printer
next step to get bea init file and use a slicer, have been hand writing gcode
new material science in the work (CMC, xanthan gum, wood ash, agar, alginate, etc)
- found a bunch of chitosan & blender
it'd be good to keep a log of experiements, recipes, measurements, etc

smelly tent and ventilation re-ups

built a tent and hooked up to the active 4" exhaust
need to figure out the current ventilation plan & see what we can do
maybe 1-ish day away from being comfortable for running a hands-on class
potentially get another air quality monitor inside the tent

coffee business

system is still being finalized on separation of woodbean and other brand
if woodbean is going to run, it's a collective for the benefit of the basement

3rd space walks?

there's all these 3rd spaces in NY, what if we ran events to visit other 3rd spaces?

micro: less "process" to testing infra projects out
puck: if I add discord, I don't want to hear complaints
llama, burdock: fuck discord
omni5cience: (secretly pro discord, probably) let's discuss in a working group
puck: proposals -> meeting -> 1 week to respond -> action
micro: make sure to test it out, ensure we have someone who will maintain it
llama: we do this for autonomy - callback to the "spirit of the basement"
