Potential next steps
- research rollers and ink
- use size of roller to design a standardized base
- design and cut acrylic clip in base on a laser
- Or use [Perler boards](https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=Perler+boards&iax=images&ia=images) (DDG search)
- design a frame for the base and make it out of wood
- design and cut or print a set of blocks for a poster or flyer
- print poster or flyer

## Baseboard
Laser cut would give a lot of options re: grid size, and material (acrylic, polycarboate, pretty colors), and would be a throughcut. Perler boards are pretty cheap and readily available.
The slim benefit to using Perler boards is that they're commercially available, and don't require a laser cutter. More people have FDM printers than laser-cutters. (~LP)

I think they have raised pegs vs. throughcuts, which might actually be less useful for printing, complicate "die" production, and is more about doing [Fuse Bead](https://duckduckgo.com/?q=fuse+bead&t=ffab&iax=images&ia=images) (DDG image search) work. (~LP)

## Die material

Totally don't know what material will print best: PLA/TPU/ABS/PETG/etc. (~LP)
