printers
CNC is coming along - maybe a week or two out before first cuts. Will picking up the last of the extruder equipment - a large syrnge+holster print-head, solid-state relay, and nozzles.
Ruby (FFF) got blobbed, Jonathan disassembled and cleaned mostly, but got blocked on reassembly of hot end nozzle. Brandon reassmebling.
Being reassembled, and installing inductive probe for Z probing.
Brandon picking up a printer at 2 in the morning. Might die, but this printer will be worth it - can print ABS and other high temp stuff. Will have an enclosure, but we will replace it with something better.
Worried about too many printers? Micro is not.
laser
Laser - need to print (PLA! not Resin!) some parts. Should be the last thing that didn't print on Ruby.
Need to make the laser table, get ventilation working.
Can you laser cut cardstock? Yes. Anything without chlorine. Do not cut ABS because cyanide. Is there a good list of laser-safe materials?
Vent is half-finished.
We will need to setup cooling for the laser and setup temperature probe. Home depot bucket with screw-on lid, over 5 gal of distilled water and has a lid. Maybe a chiller in the future.
There will be times and temps to we will be limited by. co2 laser, plastic safty glasses. Any will do. But we can lie and call them the laser safety glasses so people use them more.
Devin found some lamps and a bin. considering trading hue lights for some lamp.
Mitch finishing the Gym tonight, will be back next week.

will - good idea, i see signal as way of organizing in realtime/like a protest
many people leaning towards Discord-first since we want to lower barrier of entry
micro - happy to bridge, and we should try signing up with our element. are we fine archiving conversation in discord?
will - myf is not here, we should give room for him to show us why its important and how we can use it
discord is already archiving it (we could delete messages). its not a huge jump for us to archive as well.
lets keep open autonomy!

matrix is a protocol. you can host servers, like woodbine can, and wonderville can. and people can talk to each other in different server channels.

will - inspired by the gym people finishing up their floor. Do we want to test out removing some of the shitty ceiling in a small section?
jonathan - yeah, but maybe be thoughtful about where.
will - need tarps, dust collection, etc. it will increase well-being, make the lighting nicer, etc.

Will - bought some bolt cutters to cut steel rods! got a starter set of files, they are in the space! Got some more metal rods from KF metals. Want to start making gradient colored panels. Once thats done gonna figure out what words and images go inside those shapes
